VetMed Consultants incorporates powerful diagnostic tools and advanced technologies as an extension to the excellent care already provided by your primary veterinarian.
We provide procedures that are not routinely performed in many general practices including advanced abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiology review, ambulatory ECG monitoring, and selective evaluations.
Our commitment is to partner with veterinarians in our community to provide high quality care and minimally invasive diagnostics and treatments.

DOCTORS
VAL ARCHIBALD
DVM, DABVP
Dr. Archibald is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is a specialist in Canine and Feline Practice. She discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at a young age and has worked in a veterinary hospital setting since she was twelve years old (as she is the daughter of a veterinarian). She is committed to veterinary diagnostic ultrasound including abdominal, cardiothoracic, and tendon imaging in her canine and feline patients. She joined Dr. Watkins in 2004 and continues to enjoy bringing advanced imaging techniques into the small animal practices throughout the greater Salt Lake area. Val earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in 1989, followed by her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Prior to joining VetMed Consultants, she worked for eleven years in busy, well-regarded private practices in both Las Vegas and here in Salt Lake City. She obtained board certification in 2000. Val spends most of her personal time with her husband, two daughters, and their boxer. She enjoys her friends and family as well as snowboarding, mountain biking, reading, movies, and cooking. She currently has 3 dogs, 4 cats, a box turtle and a husband. She volunteers with the Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation, fostering animals, maintaining their website and helping with events.
KERI BOGARDUS
DVM
Doctor Bogardus is a native Utahn and grew up in Brigham City and Ogden areas. She graduated from Weber State University with a B.S. in Zoology, and received her DVM from Washington State University in 2003. Prior to joining VetMed Consultants in 2013, Keri practiced in a busy, respected small animal hospital in the Salt Lake area. She has special interest in internal medicine and cardiology, and is currently working toward board certification by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Keri lives in the Salt Lake area, surrounded by her furry friends. She is particularly partial to her dog, Stanley Danger...(but don't tell the others). She enjoys gardening, hiking with her dogs, traveling, exploring Utah's national parks, part-time fitness instruction, and has recently taken up rock climbing.
JILLIAN GEORGE
DVM
Doctor George is originally from Naples, FL, but her love of the west with its mountains and snow led her to Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University, with both a B.S. in Animal/Biomedical Sciences --and went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While in Colorado, she was active on the board of a nonprofit rescue and rehabilitation organization. Prior to joining VetMed Consultants Mobile Services, Jillian practiced in a busy small animal hospital in the Salt Lake Valley. She has a special interest in both internal medicine and critical care. Jillian lives in Sandy with her husband and two young children. She and her husband are also the caregivers of their loving, senior citizen Pit Bull named Ty and a talkative African Grey named Kona. She loves all things outdoors, especially skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and rock climbing with her family.
TEALE ORME
DVM
Dr. Teale Orme is from Park City, Utah. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age while helping to care for her family’s horses, dogs, and barn cats. She gained further hands-on experience working with veterinarians and technicians on the Navajo reservation. She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College in 2010, where she majored in Native American studies and minored in Women's and Gender Studies. She completed a pre-veterinary post-baccalaureate program at the University of Vermont in 2011 and then relocated to California where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from UC Davis. While in Davis, she was a founding member of the veterinary arm of a One Health clinic for a rural agricultural community. After completing her education at Davis, Dr. Orme was ready to return to her home state. She worked as a general practitioner in clinics located in Park City and Cottonwood Heights. In 2022, Dr. Orme joined the VetMed Consultants Mobile team and she has enjoyed partnering with our local veterinarians and their clients to help provide abdominal and cardio thoracic diagnostic imaging for their patients. Dr. Orme lives in Park City with her husband and their young son. She enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, trail running, crewing her partner on his trail running endeavors, and summer nights at outdoor concerts.
SHAWN BYBEE
DVM, DABVP
Dr. Shawn Bybee is from Bountiful, Utah. Graduating cum laude in 2011 from Colorado State University, Dr. Bybee went on to complete a medical and surgical rotating internship in Portland Oregon. In 2012, he returned home to Utah and worked in a busy small animal practice in Salt Lake City. In 2020, Dr. Bybee completed a rigorous and voluntary two-year accreditation process to become recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners as a specialist in Canine and Feline practice. After eleven years in general practice, he made the transition to focus on diagnostic ultrasound, enhancing his strong interest in Internal Medicine and minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutics. Shawn’s free time is spent with his spouse, Sara, their two children, and two dogs. He regularly enjoys all the outdoor recreation that Utah has to offer, including running skiing and camping, but prefers to spend time on one of his five bicycles -riding the trails, gravel roads, and canyons.

JENNIFER
TECHNICIAN
Jennifer’s love of animals led her to animal care as the focus of her career. She attended Utah Career College, receiving an associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007. After passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam, Jennifer became a Licensed Vet Tech. She continues to pursue opportunities in small animal practices and is excited to expand her knowledge and skills with VetMed. She currently has 3 dogs, 4 cats, a box turtle and a husband. She volunteers with the Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation, fostering animals, maintaining their website and helping with events.
MADDY
TECHNICIAN
Maddy was born and raised in Utah, where her love for animals and passion for cat rescue led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She joined the VetMed Mobile team after gaining experience in several small animal practices in Washington State and Utah. She is committed to deepening her ability to offer compassionate, exceptional care to pets and their owners. Maddy prides herself on being a crazy cat lady and has two of her own; a foster “fail” named Casper and a "werewolf cat" named Norma. When not spoiling her kitties, she can be found watching scary movies, writing poetry, or spending time with friends and family. She currently has 3 dogs, 4 cats, a box turtle and a husband. She volunteers with the Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation, fostering animals, maintaining their website and helping with events.
KATRINA
TECHNICIAN
Katrina has been an animal lover as long as she can remember and pursued training to become a technician shortly after high school. Twenty-four years later, she still can't imagine a job that didn’t involve caring for animals. Katrina’s passion and years of experience is a huge asset to VetMed Consultants Mobile Services. Katrina and her “smart alec” husband have two adorable daughters, two cattle dogs and operate a small farm of horses and pigs. When not parenting their kids, or toiling over their own livestock, they help out with duties on her in-laws cattle ranch. In her spare time she loves to hike the outdoors, read or listen to books, watch survival videos, and take naps.
ASPEN
TECHNICIAN
Aspen sees pet safety, trust, and comfort as her top priorities. She started her career as a kennel technician and through her experience, advanced to become a veterinary technician at a hospital in the Bountiful area. Aspen grew up in Utah with a house full of sisters. She has spent most of her life in her home state, but had a brief stay in California, where she rescued her beloved Chihuahua, Bentley (who is 15 and has lots of nicknames). In her free time, you will likely find Aspen outside hiking, camping, or paddle boarding with her husband or sisters. She is also fond of music and art, and relaxing at home with all of her plants.
KAMBRIE
TECHNICIAN
Starting as a kennel technician at 18, Kambrie has played several critical roles in her 7- year career. In addition to kennel technician, she has experience as a receptionist and veterinary technician in a number of clinics from Logan to Park City to Provo. Kambrie has a real passion for exotics and doesn’t rule out the possibility of this leading to a future career with wildlife. When Kambrie is not contributing to the VetMed team, you can find her hanging out with her boyfriend, 2 dogs, 3 cats, sulcata tortoise, and many rabbits, chickens, and ducks. She also enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and traveling.
JULIE
TECHNICIAN / COORDINATOR
Julie has had a love all animals since childhood. She would bring home stray pets and sometimes even talk to her parents into letting her keep them. She began her veterinary technician training at Salt Lake Community College in 2000 and continued on to work in surgical as well as emergency medicine settings. She joined VetMed Consultants in 2007 and is an integral part of exceptional patient care. Julie is committed to patient monitoring and comfort as well as maximizing daily efficiencies in our practice. Julie enjoys spending her free time with her husband, and two you children who all fortunately love animals as much as she does. They have two sweet dogs to keep them active, two mischievous cats, and a clutter of hens.
AMY
LEAD COORDINATOR
Amy discovered that her life's passion could become a career in 2003 while attending Utah Career College. Since graduating, she has served our local veterinary community as a small animal technician. Amy's current endeavor allows her to utilize her knowledge of animal medicine as VetMed Consultants Mobile's client coordinator. She is your go-to contact for client scheduling and medical records acquisition. Amy spends much of her free time with her reptiles and exotic pets. She also enjoys exploring our beautiful state with her family and dogs. Amy's perfect evening is spent around a fire with friends or enjoying a night out with live music.
AUDREY
CLIENT COORDINATOR
From a young age, animals have been Audrey’s passion, with her veterinary Barbie doll holding a special place among her cherished toys --alongside her snowboarder Barbie. In 2020 Audrey moved from her home in Montana to Utah where she studied and earned her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Broadview University. She then gained practical experience working in clinics in the Provo and Park City area. At VetMed Consultants Mobile Services, Audrey particularly enjoys fostering client and clinic relationships, which allows her to combine her love for animals with her people skills. Outside of work, Audrey is an avid adventurer. She enjoys skiing, hiking, and paddleboarding, and has a deep appreciation for live music.
